Los Angeles – Wed & Thu
With almost a decade of professional counseling experience, I offer therapy for teens, adult individuals, couples, and families. Whether you’re dealing with trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, pregnancy loss, relationship issues, or other concerns, it would be my privilege to walk with you toward recovery and restoration. Past clients have told me that I have a welcoming and warm way about myself, but that I am also able to ask difficult questions to bring about true growth. I am unafraid to talk about the “hard topics.” I strive to listen well and to bring awareness to my clients regarding the struggles they face, seeking lasting solutions with God’s help.
My Goal as a Christian Counselor
My ultimate goal as a therapist is to help my clients find their way back to themselves. I want them to tap into their authenticity, get unstuck from their unhelpful thought patterns, learn new ways to cope, and experience joy in the midst of pain. My clients will gain the tools that they need to manage all of life’s ups and downs without being consumed.
What I Offer in Christian Counseling
I believe you are the expert of your own life, so I want to hear your story first. I look forward to getting to know you and developing a trusting relationship. My goal is to help you feel safe and welcomed to be yourself in our sessions with no judgment. Depending on your comfort level and what you feel ready for, we can address an issue of the day or dive deeper into traumatic experiences.
My Approach to Christian Counseling
The core of my identity is a Christian, a daughter of God. For a long time, I felt I had to separate my career and my faith. I now find great joy in bringing in my faith as much as my clients are comfortable. I truly believe God cares so much about us and our mental health. Allowing God’s Word to speak directly to your situation helps to breathe life into what was once a dead situation. My hope and prayer is that bringing God into therapy will help bring perspective, peace, and clarity in direction.
Qualifications & Experience
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a Master’s of Social Work (MSW) from University of Southern California (USC). I received my B.A. from CSU, Sacramento. My major for my undergraduate degree was Child Development with a minor in Counseling in Social Settings. I also have a Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPSC).
My Call to Christian Counseling
Since I can remember, I have always wanted to help people. I tend to be a natural encourager and highly empathetic. I grew to be the friend that would be there for people and help them sort through their emotions, trauma, and problems. I always see the strength and potential in a person and enjoy helping them walk confidently in who they are meant to be.
More About Me/On a Personal Note
One of my personal interests and hobbies is writing. I am a bestselling author of the book, “Please Excuse My Brave: Overcoming Fear and Living Out Your Purpose.” I also love to travel and see different parts of the country and world. I am an introvert but I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. One of my favorite things to do is go to the beach for some self-care.

Grief and Loss
The experience of losing someone to death is never the same for any one person. I have years of experience helping people through the unpredictability of grief by allowing you to be where you are on your journey while providing support and healthy coping alternatives. I realize that grief can come due to the loss of a relationship, a job, a major part of your identity, and much more. I also help clients navigate through the emotions that surface in these various situations.
Pregnancy Loss
I have a specific passion to work with women and men who have had a loss due miscarriage or abortion. This is another form of grief that is less accessible to discuss in society and especially in the church. I can help clients with being able to process this grief in a safe, nonjudgmental space.
Self-esteem
In today’s society, comparison is running rampant. There is a constant influx of information and we get to see the highlight reels of people’s lives. This can definitely damage self-esteem. I help clients build confidence in who they are regardless of where they are in life.
Trauma and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
I have many years of experience helping clients overcome trauma. I utilize various relaxation techniques and modalities such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help begin the healing journey after trauma.
Personal Development
I believe that God has a wonderful plan for us all, as the Bible says in Jeremiah 29:11, “‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not harm you, to give you a hope and a future.’” Developing yourself is God’s plan so that you can achieve all that is purposed for you. I help clients clarify their goals and discover their strengths and passions to be able to successfully reach their full potential.
